Our Purple Passion Fruit plants are (Passiflora edulis) self-fertile, and prefer full sun, and ample water. The delicious fruits are fine for eating out of hand, or processing into jellies, juices, or desserts. The classic white, purple and cream-colored Passionflowers are stunning, especially when grown where they can be seen and appreciated close-up. These plants grow large and climb so they require staking.
Please consider these terms before ordering live plants: Most plants will be 3”-7” in height. All plants will ship weekly. Please make sure you are ready for your order in your zone as these young, tender plants generally have no resistance to cold.
Plant Care Instructions:
Plants cannot tolerate a hard freeze; Plant outdoors after the chance of frost has passed. Choose a sunny site with well-drained soil. Trellis or stake plants to keep them from taking over the garden, as they will otherwise grow into a tangled mess! Prune vines to create airflow and promote fruiting.
